World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5th, and this year’s theme is “Beat Plastic Pollution”. The day is meant to raise awareness about the importance of preserving our environment and taking action to protect it. One of the ways that we can do this is by planting trees, and Rise to Inspire Africa (RIA) Initiative, funded by Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI), is leading the way in sensitizing people about this important issue.
